Management of multi-resolution data in a mobile spatial information visualization system

چکیده
We propose a solution for the management of multiresolution data in a mobile spatial information visualization system. This system has a client server architecture and is characterized by a slow communication link. Our solution is based on use of increments, i.e. the ”difference” between two datasets with different levels of detail. It allows reuse of locally available data and reduces the amount of data transferred between client and server.
